Will AOC help me to get a promotion?Yes! AOC deliver high quality professional development courses that are recognised by employers. Achieving an online qualification or short course shows employers that you have the drive and determination to succeed.

How long do I have to complete the course?All online courses at AOC have a twelve (12) month time limit in which to complete. If you are experiencing difficulties in completing your course within this time period, please contact us for an extension. There are no extra costs for extensions up to six (6) month after the original twelve month period. Extensions will need to be organised before your enrolment lapses.

What type of courses do you offer?We offer certificates courses, which are short courses that normally take from 5-10 weeks to complete. All courses have a twelve (12) month enrolment period.

When can I enrol?If you choose to study with AOC you can enrol in any course offered anytime that suits you, via our secure online website.

When can I study?Anytime. Soon after you enrol you will receive a confirmation email. This gives you the flexibility to study when, where and how often it suits you.

Are there any entry requirements? No. We accept students irrespective of their educational backgrounds. However, you will need a reasonable standard of English to complete our online courses.

When does my enrolment commence?Enrolment commences once you have made your payment and your enrolment is processed. This can take between 2-24 hours.

How much time do I need to study each week?All online courses are designed so that you can complete them at your own pace. As long as you complete the course within the twelve month enrolment period, you may study as little or as much as you wish.

Can I stop studying for a long period of time?Yes. You can apply for an extension if you will not finish your course/qualification by the due date. It is okay to take a break from your studies.

Do I need to buy any textbooks?No. All Student Learning Materials are provided for your convenience. This makes AOC a very affordable option as everything is provided. Tutors will advise you of any useful textbooks, however you are not required to buy any textbooks that are suggested.

What happens if I need help with my studies?If you require assistance with the course materials and need a concept explained further, please email your assigned tutor with your query and your tutor will respond promptly and personally. Your assigned tutor will guide you through the course materials, help you with any problems and provide constructive feedback on your assignments.

How do I contact my tutor?The easiest and quickest way to contact your tutor is via email. You will be advised the email address of your assigned tutor upon commencement of your course. Tutors are available 7 days per week via email.

How long is my enrolment?If you have chosen to study with AOC, please keep in mind that your enrolment is valid for a period of twelve (12) months, or as agreed on any special offers.


How long does a short course with AOC take to complete?AOC is all about flexibility and simplicity. Studying with AOC means you have the flexibility to study at your own pace, at the time and place of your choosing. All courses have a 12 month time-limit to complete the course. Will I receive a certificate on completion of the course?Yes. Upon successfully completing an AOC course, you will receive a Certificate electronically within 21 days after the completion of your final assessment.

Who writes the courses for AOC?
All courses are written by industry experts in consultation with professional writers.

Are your courses accredited? Like most professional development courses in Australia, our professional development programs are non-accredited in terms of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). However, high quality professional development courses are recognised by employers. Achieving an online qualification or short course shows employers that you have the drive and determination to succeed, as well as the knowledge required to perform in the role.

Can I get a job with a non-accredited course? In most cases the answer is yes. Many employers do not distinguish between accredited and non-accredited programs. Employers are more interested in whether you are the right fit for the organisation. Do you have the skills and can you do the job? There are many non-accredited qualifications available which are highly regarded by employers, such as Microsoft Certification.

What happens if I do not pass an assignment? In order to successfully complete the course, you will need to complete all of of the assignments. We use a competency-based assessment; if you do not receive a 'Competent/Pass' grade you will be asked to resubmit your assignment until you achieve the competency.

How do I pay for my course?As we are an online training organisation, our payments are processed online. We accept payment from your bank account, Visa or Mastercard via PayPal. Can I afford to study with AOC?Yes! Because we do not have a physical campus, we are able to offer you affordable online courses that are more flexible that a classroom-based course. Compare our prices with our competitors and you will find that our courses are the most affordable on the market.

Can I pay by instalments?All online courses must be paid upfront. Our fees are heavily discounted to reflect the lower overhead costs in developing and delivering online courses. However, you may choose to make part-payments via Internet banking. Please view our payment options.

What if I need technical support?If you need technical support, please Contact Us. Occasionally due to routine maintenance, our elearning website may not be available. We aim to keep interruptions to a minimum. If you cannot access the elearning website for more than two (2) hours, please Contact Us. In the event that you are unable to access the elearning site, you will be provided with alternative access to your course materials within 2-24 hours.
